Set on the waterfront on Island Street, The Lobster House is a relaxed all-day restaurant and terrace bar overlooking the Salcombe estuary.

Our menus celebrate the best of the South West — fresh local seafood, seasonal produce, quality meats and uncomplicated dishes designed for sharing. Expect oysters, lobster, wood-fired pizzas, chilled rosé and sunset martinis, all served against one of Salcombe’s best waterfront views.

Join us from morning coffee through to late evenings on the terrace overlooking the estuary.
We’re open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks, with indoor dining, outdoor seating and weekend music sessions throughout the summer.
Tables for sunset and evenings fill quickly, especially at weekends, so advance booking is recommended.
Walk-ins welcome whenever we can.
